So, it's been awhile, but I'm back my lovelies! Paul, Avie and I were away for the last few days for our Wedding shower. We had sooooo much fun gathering with family and friends and we had our fair share of beer too! YUM! Well, at least Paul and I did....not Avie! :P We got a lot done there as well for the wedding, thank goodness. It's hard enough planning a wedding as it is, let alone planning a wedding in another location. It's difficult to do so many things without being there to SEE what it is you're trying to do, like the flowers or the cake. We DID manage to get the flowers all arranged though, which I was soooo happy about. Paul's and the grooms men's tux's are all dealt with and my dress is with the seamstress having some slight alterations done to it. We're having the flowergirl dresses made by a wonderful lady, Janet, that I found through Etsy. Check out the stunning theme dresses she has listed in her shop, she's truly talented! I am so excited to see how the little flowergirl dresses turn out!
I also completed a new Little Beanz custom piece, this one is of a little girl named Sophia. How cute is she? :)

I have a couple more custom pieces that I will be starting tomorrow. Too many cutie patooooties!
I finally finished another Micawber painting as well, it seems like it's been forever since I had the time to work on one of these. This one is called "The One With The Antlers." I really like her, now I just need to figure out where to hang her in my place! :)

I didn't do my usual "time lapse" video of the process for this painting. It takes a little while to put it together, but, if anyone really wants to see it....then I'll get off of my lazy butt and do it.
I have another Micawber sketch ready and waiting to be worked on, maybe I'll get a start on that in the next day or so. It's my birthday on Friday....so I might be a bit busy this weekend sitting on the deck with some friends and a cold one though...but we'll see!
Lastly, since I last posted, Paul and I got the beautiful Canon Rebel XTI that I was talking about! YAAAAAAY!!!!!!!! It's such an amazing camera, I can see the difference in the images already, and I still really have to learn how to use it. Here are a couple of "first tries" with it of our favorite subject, Avie!
Here she is this evening trying corn on the cob for the first time....she LOVED it!
Here's another picture from a couple of days ago at the park. She thought the dinosaur was the cutest, I think it might have reminded her of Baby Bop from Barney. What kid doesn't love Barney?

You'll be seeing tons more of these in the coming months! :)
Later my gators!
